Mohammed S. Ghouri is the Founder and Principal at Andalus Capital. He has over 25 years of experience in various management capacities including as a financial advisor and investment manager. Ghouri has held managerial positions at Ivy Investment Management, Verizon, Atlas Air and Tower Air. He specializes in creating ethical and socially responsible investment strategies serving: High Net-worth Individuals and Families, Trusts and Estates, Family Offices, Employer Sponsored Retirements and Pensions, Unions and Nonprofits.
Ghouri earned his undergraduate degree from Osmania University, M.S. fromNew York University and an M.B.A from Cornell University with further study at the Industrial and Labor Relations School at Cornell University.
He holds the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination (S65) license and is an active member of the alumni associations of NYU and Cornell.








Reshma Ghouri is a partner and tax advisor at Andalus Capital. She is aCertified Public Accountant and a professional tax advisor with more than fifteen years experience. She specializes in income tax planning and consulting services for high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses and private foundations, and also has experience serving clients in the real estate industry.
Ms. Ghouri holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Information Systems (Cum Laude) from Queens College, City University of New York and is licensed to practice public accounting in New York.
She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AISCPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).




Andrew Tang is the Chief Investment Officer at Turner Financial Group and works closely with Andalus Capital on portfolio strategy and investment advisory. He has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, including leadership roles in wealth management, asset allocation, and advisor platform development. Tang has held senior positions at Claraphi Advisory Network, National Asset Management, Wachovia Securities Financial Network, and Sands Brothers & Co. specializes in developing objective, customized, and risk-managed investment strategies serving: High Net-worth Individuals and Families, Trusts and Estates, Family Offices, Employer Sponsored Retirement Plans, and Institutional Clients.
Tang earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Boston University and holds certificates in Commodities Trading and Financial Planning from New York University.
He holds Series 7, 63, 65, and 24 licenses and is currently registered with the SEC through his Series 65 designation. He has also played a key role in scaling advisory platforms, including helping grow assets under management at Claraphi Advisory Network to over $1.5 billion.






Shelley Weaver serves as our Local Operations Manager and Advisor’s Assistant, overseeing day-to-day office operations, processes, and procedures. She coordinates appointments, prepares meeting materials, and provides the Advisor with administrative and operational support before, during, and after client meetings. Shelley joined Turner Financial Group in 2007 after transitioning from medical office administration.
She supports the opening and maintenance of client accounts, coordinates paperwork and follow-up items, processes money movement and trading requests, and helps ensure records arecomplete and accurate. Shelley also works with custodians and service partners to resolve requests, monitor outstanding items, and keep clients informed. Her organization, attention to detail, and commitment to helping others contribute to an efficient and responsive client experience. Shelley graduated from Pensacola State College.



Amy Fisher serves as our Client Services and Marketing Assistant. She manages the office calendar for appointments and coordinates educational and social events, helping ensure each activity is organized and communicated clearly. Amy collects client information and prepares reports, forms, and supporting documents for meetings.
She assists with account service requests, including beneficiary updates, withdrawals, address changes, and other maintenance needs. Amy also helps track follow-up items, maintain accurate client records, support new-account paperwork, coordinate communications, and prepare marketing and event materials. Her attention to detail and responsive approach help clients stay informed and help the team deliver an efficient, welcoming service experience. Amy graduated from the University of West Florida.



Haroon Latif is a due diligence and valuations specialist that servesinSenior fractional finance and strategy roles at high growth companies, and with a 20-year career that spans extensive strategy advisory and due diligence work with a background in Big 4 Accounting and top tier strategy.
Mr. Latif recently co-founded a private equity firm to capture ethnic and ethical consumer opportunities, where he led initial business development. He has also led the set-up of a small family office and supported several new ventures, including a UAE social impact incubator, and has engaged in extensive strategic advisory work for alternative investments companiesand government entities, including leading Sovereign Wealth Funds.
In previous roles, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and L.E.K. Consulting, in transactions-focused roles as a Project Manager, where he led financial due diligence and strategy assignments respectively. He also interned for a private equity firm in New York and a venture advisory firm in the UK.
Mr. Latif holds an MBA with Distinction from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management, a Masters of Economics from London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Manchester. Mr. Latif is a Certified Public Accountant.




John Kozey develops portfolio and asset allocation strategies that fit both style-based objectives and client-based objectives. Most recently as an advisor to a Swiss family office, he developed quantitative, rules-based strategies for equities, futures and currencies. Prior to that, he developed factor portfolios and was a senior analyst at Thomson Reuters, and appeared extensively on Reuters Television and in the media. His career spans over 30 years in the industry, starting as an institutional trader and salesman.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Market Technician andAccredited Wealth Management Advisor designations. He graduated from Cornell University with an MBA, majoring in finance.
He graduated magna cum laude from Wilkes University with dual majors in economics and computer science.



Omar Ghouri is a Research Analyst Intern at Andalus Capital. He is an undergraduate student at New York University Stern School of Business. At Andalus Capital, he works on ethical & socially responsible investment screening, designing, and researching S&P 500 securities. His job responsibilities are to screen and analyze the equities sector by sector, focused on the market capitalization and debt-to-equity ratios. Omar also helps track the valuation and monitors the performance of various Endowment funds.


Kenneth Gurrola is a licensed attorney and an experienced investment banker with more than $33 billion in capital markets experience.
Mr. Gurrola holds an undergraduate degree from UCLA, an MBA fromCornell University and a JD from UC Hastings.
He is an active alumni of Cornell, UC Hastings and UCLA alumni organizations.



Abdur-Rahman Syed has more than a decade of experience in financial services, branding and corporate strategy, with an emphasis on Islamic brands. As a brand strategist, he has contributed to the naming and design of fifteen brands launched by or for Muslims in sectors as diverse as financial services, education, food, hospitality and non-profit foundations.
Mr. Syed has a BA Honors from Harvard University, with further study at the University of Chicago and Boston University. He lives in Dubai with his wife and children.
